WILL OF MARY CAMPBELL SUTTON

In the name of God, Amen: I, Mary Sutton of York District and State of South Carolina, being of sound and disposing mind and memory but weak in body and calling to mind the uncertainty of life, and being desirous to dispose of all such worldly assets as it hath pleased God to bless me with, do make this and ordain my last will in the manner following: that is to say, I will all my interest of land where I now live to my son Jonathan L.O. Sutton.

I will to my grandson, William N.M. Sutton, a negro girl named Ellen. I will that if said Ellen has any children, I will that the oldest goes to my granddaughter, Mary Jane Sutton.

I will that the negro boy named James is to my grandson James Sutton. I will that my granddaughter, Margaret J. Sutton, gets $50.00 out of the price of negro James.

I will to my grandson, John F. Adams, one bed and furniture.

Lastly, I do constitute and appoint Jonathan L.O. Sutton executor of this my last will and testament.

Where I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 24th day of October in the seventy-third year of the independence of America.

/s/ Mary Sutton
