George Sutton was born on April 12, 1613 and died in Perquimans County, N. C. Apr. 12, 1669. He sailed from Sandwich, Kent, 1634, settled at Scituate, Mass., and died at the age of 56 on his birthday, April 12, 1669 in Albemarle County, Perquimans District, North Carolina. He married Sarah Tilden on March 13, 1636 in Scituate, Plymouth County. Sarah was about 23 at the time of their marraige. She was born January 13, 1612-13 in Tenterden, Kent County, England. She died at the age of 64 on March 20, 1676-77, in Albemarle County, Perquimans Dist, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Tilden (who came from Tenterden in Kent and was of ancient Kentish Family) & Lydia Bourne Huckstep.
